Outremer (Swe) - Same Anyone who remember the mourners Fear My Solitude have the knowledge that they made tons of demos throughout the 90s with various response. The duo behind the project Mikael Jansson and Ola Malmström have returned with a new band after that F.M.S folded a few years ago called Outremer. Guitarist Paul Johansson and drummer Jocke Olofsson are the rest of the Outremers. Their debut 3 track release have just been released and after a few spins I say that this is a interesting piece. Match later Entombed with Cathedral and a inch of Motörhead and you get the picture what this band are sounding like, totally different to F.M.S that was quite depressing to listen to but it had a originality,and that saved it to become a sleeping pill. Outremers first are uptempo and have a catchy groove and a positive attitude. Recommended.
